We will have turkey frozen and ready for pick up by mid August. These turkeys are rotationally grazed on green grass fields and given only organic feed. Turkeys are said to be very hard to raise. Often losing up to half the flock is considered normal. However, our turkeys were very healthy and there were few losses. Rotational grazing means that the turkeys are frequently moved to new green grass, giving them more bugs and a variety of forage and keeping them from regrazing which prevents parasites. This makes nutrient dense, tasty, healthful meat.
We are happy to be a customer inspected farm, and would enjoy showing you the turkeys if you are able to visit. Please contact us to make arrangements.
Our turkey will be slaughtered in a biblically kosher, humane, chemical free manner on our farm. (We do it all ourselves.)
Reservations require a $20 deposit, and will be taken on a first come first served basis.
The price will be $11/lb. and we are expecting to harvest at 8-12 lbs.
Options to get your turkey include on farm pick up or meet up for delivery by arrangement.
